To our pleasant surprise we were quite pleased with our Classic Rattan pieces which were quite comfortable even for a sleeper sofa.The pecan stained seawinds entertainment center matched the Classic Rattan pieces perfectly. The Rattan Specialties bedroom sets with the stone tops looked great. Only one corner of the tops had small stone chips which the manufacturer will correct by sending a matching filler material.  Donald and Patrick, the two gentlemen working for Peace Transport, were very conscientious in making sure that it was truly “white glove service”. They unpacked and placed the furniture where requested and to say that my husband and I were extremely pleased with not only the service but the actual furniture. The workmanship in the entire bedroom set is absolutely top quality – from the glides on the drawers, even the stops – everything was superbly done. Just want to let you know how pleased we were to get a call from the Transportation Co. that they would be delivering our set the evening before it was scheduled to come. We were delighted since 15 people were coming for dinner the next day. The delivery men were very efficient and polite, uncrated everything quickly. I was so apprehensive about purchasing a large item on line without seeing it and to my surprise the color was just what I wanted a lovely warm chestnut stain
on the rattan and it appears to be very sturdy. The seatcovers were a perfect shade of turquoise and the cushions are very comfortable. The glass tabletop makes the room appear much larger. We are enjoying it thoroughly and would recommend this Mayflower dining set to anyone.
It took over 2 months to get here but it was well worth the wait!

I just love everything I bought!   I don't think I have ever been able to say that about a whole room of furnisher before, there is always a little something wrong but not with my Ocean City Rattan, everything fits perfect and is made good!  Everyone that walks into my sun room has nothing but nice things to say.  MY SON!! the Critic, even likes it, a lot!  He says "Woo I really like this stuff" and then took a nap on the sofa.  LOL   As you know I bought a sofa sleeper, matching chair and ottoman, coffee table, TV cabinet, Bar table and stools.  I don't know which piece I like best because I am happy with them all... Plus the extra fabric I bought I made cushions for my outside furnisher so now everything matches and looks great!   You should advertize the sofa sleeper as a day bed when cushions are removed, because it is wide enough to sleep on comfortably (ask my son... lol).  The bed once pulled out is also much bigger than I thought it would be.   Plus the chair is wide enough for big people to sit in!   The bar stools matched up almost perfect with the Newport pub table... I worried about doing that, but the match is close to perfect.    Something else.. I was so worried about buying so much furnisher on line without seeing it first, plus not knowing for sure about any website, I checked you guys out by going to the BBB and you had (from the bbb) -->  Based on BBB files, Exotic Furniture and Gifts has a BBB Rating of A+ on a scale  from A+ to F .  you can't get better than that!...  Not only that, I always got an answer from you guys right away... or I did the on line live chat and Marie was always ready and waiting to answer all my questions and Thanks for the emails Mark.  I really do appreciate everything you guys did for me.  And I Will Be Back... LOL... I already have plans on buying more.... mmmmm maybe another table... or even a bed and I could really use a nice desk.... Hi Mark,      We finally got the furniture on January 7th.  The delivery guys were great.  Everthing arrived in perfect condition.      We have two problems with the furniture.  The first is the decorative channel on the toop of the coffee table varies  from 1/16 to 1/4 of an inch. I realize its hand made.  The second is - the glass top that came with the coffee table is 5 inches too short.      I went to a glass shop and bought the proper sized glass to fit it.  I also bought a glass top for the tiered table.      The good new is that we absolutely love the furniture.  Your people went beyond our expectations as far as capturing our concept.  Instead of doing a rope design around the top edge of the pieces they used a what we call a "petalled" motif - which looks so much better than the rope design.  And on the tiered table, instead of using a reeded (or fluted) design on the legs.  We're glad they did that because it actually looks much better.     The underside of all the (3) pieces is all completely finished and the coffee table has additional support underneath.      This furniture reeks Quality.      Please let me know the ETA for the second end table and how you'd like to handle the financial adjustment for the glass for the coffee table.     Enclosed are some pictures of our "Empire" style furniture.  And it is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!                                                              John And Ruta C.
